For anyone that is unaware of the Maybelline Colour Tattoo, they are a cream-gel eyeshadow, which can be worn on their own or under a powder eyeshadow, and can be applied lightly for a wash of colour or can be built up to create a more intense look.
So anyway, I have the colours Eternal Gold (gold with shimmer), Pink-Gold (believe it or not, pink with gold) and On & On Bronze (yep, you've guessed it, it's bronze).
Generally, the three I own are quite pigmented, the best in terms of pigmentation though, I think is the On & On Bronze. The 'Eternal Gold' doesn't have much payoff, though it is buildable to make it stronger. I have found that the Pink-Gold has a better payoff when you apply it with your fingers rather than with a brush, but again, it is buildable, depending on how intense you want your look to be.
They are very creamy and blend easily. I also found that gel eyeliner applies very easily over the top, though I am yet to try a pencil eyeliner with them (I don't think a pencil eyeliner will work as good with them, as I think they will require something a bit creamier to go over the top of them, but like I say, I'm yet to try them so I'll update when I have!). I think though that it will also work with a liquid liner too.
The finish of them is hard to describe - they don't set straight away, but when they do, they seem to have a bit of a powdery feel, but not overly powdery like an actual powder eyeshadow. The finish in terms of colour looks the same as when you first put it on, very metallic and shimmery.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this product from the ones that I have, and I am hoping to purchase the rest of the range very soon!
