I thought I’d do another face of the day + outfit of the day post today.
I wore this look yesterday when I went for lunch in town with friends - I hope you like it!
For the makeup, I started off with one of my favourite foundations, the Max Factor Facefinity 3-in-1 Foundation. Then to conceal my redness and dark circles, I used the Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer.
Onto the eyes, I used the current standard brow colour of MAC Omega eyeshadow. I then took the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Permanent Taupe - this went all across the lid and under the lower lashline, blended in both places. Over the top of this I took the L’Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow in Sahara Treasure - now the reason I used the cream shadow underneath is because the shadow I put on the top is a pressed pigment, if you will, so it needed something to stick to. As in my last FOTD post, I used my Illamasqua Gel Liner to line my top lashline and then coated my lashes with a few coats of the Maybelline The Rocket Mascara.
Back onto the skin, I lightly powdered through the centre of the face using my Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in the shade Transparent. You know how I love a good contour, so I then used the standard Benefit Hoola bronzer with my Real Techniques Blush Brush. Then on the tops of my cheek bones I applied the B. Glowing Shimmer Block - this is a great dupe of the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick.
And finally, I used the No7 Sheer Temptation Lipstick in Blooming Pink.
So my outfit:
This top is from Topshop and was £15 reduced from £30 in the sale - I’m not sure if you’ll be able to get it still as there was only a couple of size 10’s left online when I ordered it!
I paired it with these black skinny jeans from Primark, that surprisingly are a great fit (you know what Primark’s sizes are like...) You can’t really see in the full image of the outfit, my shoes, but I’m wearing these leopard print flats, also from Primark.
